What you can expect if you seek psychological help:

  • A safe, caring and supportive environment
  • The freedom to choose what you talk about and how long you attend therapy or counselling
  • Sensitivity to your values and cultural background
  • To be treated in a respectful and confidential manner.

Except in rare circumstances such as danger to yourself or others, or very rare legal circumstances, no-one else will be told that you have come for therapy or counselling or what you have said (unless you give signed permission).

In order to maintain a high standard of clinical practice, I consult with a supervisor on a regular basis. However, this is done in such a way that you are not identified.
